In the beginning of 2020, we decided to shift from the local public school to educating our kids at home. I played it cool. But I was pretty excited. Most people get into normal hobbies like woodworking or collecting fish hooks. Developing educational curriculum is a hobby for me. So I decided that I—along with my supportive but skeptical wife—would try and tackle building a path for our kids over the next several years. Because I don’t do anything small.
